This year for our Arts Festival exhibition at the studio, we have handpicked eight of their favourite local craftspeople from a variety of craft disciplines including, basket making, ceramics, weaving, stone carving, wood turning and of course glassmaking!

For our Arts Week exhibition this year, we looked at the wealth of talent here in Co. Kilkenny and we were spoilt for choice! We selected some of the local craftspeople that we most admire and who are as dedicated to the hand-making process as we are at Jerpoint Glass.

Alongside specially commissioned pieces made by hand by the Rory & James of Jerpoint Glass Studio, exhibitors in ‘CRAFT in hand’ include ceramicists Mark Campden, Caroline Dolan, Karen Morgan and Brid Lyons of Clay Creations, stone carver Aileen Anne Brannigan, basket weaver Eamon Tobin, wood turner Muga Moran and a special textile collaboration from Cushendale Woollen Mills and Suzanna Crampton of Zwartbles Ireland.

‘CRAFT in hand’ at the Glass Attic Gallery, a group exhibition featuring nine local craftspeople will run at Jerpoint Glass Studio until the 30thSeptember Stoneyford, Co.Kilkenny. The exhibition is open daily and free of charge from 10 to 6 MOnday to Saturday and 12 to 5 on Sundays.
